Mrs Sally Oxley

Mrs Oxley has been teaching for 15 years and was Headteacher at Northwood Infant School before she was appointed as Head at Oxhey in September 2007. Mrs Oxley says the best thing about teaching is the children and their progress. She looks after the all subject areas and is responsible for the leadership and management of the school. Mrs Oxley has two cats called Lucy and Foxy. The best holiday she has ever had was to Stigliano in Italy, the first time she went away with her husband after her children had left home.

Mrs Lindi Nejrup

Mrs Nejrup has been teaching at Oxhey for 4 the 10 years she has been a teacher. She is Deputy Head and supports Mrs Oxley in leading and managing the school. Looking after the inclusion team, assessment, PSHE alongside being literacy co-ordinator ensures her role is varied and very busy! Mrs Nejrup’s hobbies are horse riding, spending time with her family and going on holiday abroad. Her favourite holiday was to Mauritius where she recently got married.

Mrs Worrall is part of the inclusion team at Oxhey and looks after Special Educational Needs (SEN) and design technology. She has been a teacher for 12 years and has always worked at Oxhey. The first record Mrs Worrall ever bought was ‘Land of Make Believe’ by Bucks Fizz. She has two rabbits called Bailey and Bugs.

Mrs Michelle Thompson

Mrs Thompson is a class teacher with teaching and learning responsibility (TLR) which involves being part of the school management team and leading and enhancing teaching practice in school. Mrs Thompson says watching the children blossom in their first years at school (and the holidays of course!!) is the best thing about teaching. A 10 day tour around Sri Lanka followed by a 5 day chill out in the Maldives was the best holiday she has ever had.

Mrs Williams has been teaching at Oxhey for a fantastic 36 years! She teaches looks after ICT and science at school and enjoys influencing and being part of so many children’s lives and seeing them progress. Mrs Williams has a poodle called Rosie and has many hobbies including golf, embroidery, reading, decorating and gardening.

Mrs. Donna Bibby

Mrs Bibby has worked at Oxhey for 14 of the 15 years she has been in education; she now works as a learning support assistant in the Early Years and looks after Special Educational Needs (SEN). Mrs Bibby has a bearded dragon called George and 2 dogs called Jess and Charlie. The best holiday Mrs Bibby has ever had was an all-inclusive holiday to Rhodes.

Mrs Bridgett is a learning support assistant and has been working at Oxhey for 4 years. She likes working at Oxhey because she likes helping children to learn new things. Her main hobby is swimming and the best holiday she has ever had was to Disneyland Florida in 2007.

Mrs Holt is a Higher Level Teaching Assistant plus a Teaching Assistant at Oxhey, and has been working at the school for 5 years. She supports in class in the morning and covers teacher’s preparation time in the afternoon. Mrs Holt’s hobbies are walking and swimming and she has one bog black cat called Sweep. The best holiday Mrs Holt has ever had was when she got married and had a holiday in Corwall.

Miss Alison Powner

Mrs Powner has been a teaching assistant for 9 years and has worked at Oxhey for the last year. Her hobbies are decorating, watching shows and being with her children. A trip to the Cayman Islands was the best holiday Mrs Powner has ever had. The first record she cought was ‘Give Me Back My Heart’ by Dollar.

Mrs. Caroline Bates

Seeing the children progress is the best thing about working at Oxhey for Mrs Bates who is a teaching assistant and lunchtime supervisor; she has been working at the school for 3 years. Mrs Bates has 16 fish! but they have no names. Her favourite holiday was an absolutely gorgeous 2 week break to Cornwall.

Mrs Siddorn spent 14 years a project manager at Barclays bank before joining the team at Oxhey in February 2009. She really enjoys the varied role and duties involved in her job. The first record she ever bought was ‘Step By Step’ by New Kids on the Block. Mrs Siddorn has lots of pets, 1 dog called Barney, 2 fish called Nemo and Dory and 2 rabbits called Daisy and Buttercup.
