Extended Curriculum

Extended Curriculum is an opportunity for children to access a range of activities which do not normally appear in the school curriculum. These mornings will run for 6 weeks every term during which we hope to broaden the horizons of our children past the daily curriculum diet we currently offer, in this way we can teach the children new skills and give those children with talents an opportunity to shine.


To begin with we offer this opportunity to children in Year 1-4 extend to our youngest children during the summer term. The children are given a list of activities and asked to choose their top 5, the children are then be placed into groups based on their choices. This provides a lovely opportunity for children from a mixture of age ranges to work together, thus allowing our older children to take on a mentoring role and allowing our younger children opportunities to try things they have not experienced before.Clubs for the Summer term are:
